The International Genealogy Conference
The County Sligo Heritage and Genealogy Society are delighted to announce that they will be hosting an International Genealogy Conference in Sligo, one of the most beautiful counties in Ireland, from the 30th of September to the 3rd of October, 2004.

The venue for the event is the Model Arts & Niland Gallery, Sligo.

The following is a list of speakers, who have been approached to speak at this conference. The various speakers proposed lecture topic is also given below.

Regarding the programme of events, it is envisaged that there will be two streams of lectures running simultaneously over the four days giving conference attendees a choice of two lectures to suit their interests at each time slot.

The event is further enhanced by the inclusion of a comprehensive evening entertainment programme, which will include a magical waterbus tour of the enchanting Lough Gill, an evenings entertainment in Parkes castle and a night of traditional Irish music & song with a traditional Irish pub quiz thrown in for good measure.

Following the conference, participants will also have the opportunity to avail of a six day guided tour of Ireland in association with Discovery promotions.
